Description	The Marine Corps Air Transport Association is a fraternal association of current and former Marines who are or have in the past been assigned to serve in a Marine Corps Air Transport Refueler unit. Members may be of any rank and have served in any capacity in any of those units. Here is our mission statement: Marine Corps Air Transport Association is a worldwide group of active duty, reserve, retired and former Marines who have banded together for the following purposes: a) To promote professionalism, camaraderie and service to and among Marines and their family members-whether active duty, reserve or former-in the U.S. and all foreign countries. b) To foster, encourage and perpetuate the memory and spirit of friendship among our comrades in arms who have been members of any Marine Corps Air Transport Squadron, Support Group or Station Activity involved in Marine Air Transport and to preserve incidents and memories of our association together. c) To perpetuate the history and traditions of the Marine Corps Air Transport Association. d) To promote and safeguard the principles of justice, freedom and democracy. e) To foster patriotism, love of our country and our flag and perpetuate the spirit and traditions of the United States Marine Corps. f) To promote and cultivate social intercourse and fellowship among our members. g) To hold meetings and social gatherings for the better realization of the purposes of our corporation. h) To pursue other such lawful purposes which from time to time the corporation may choose to pursue. The corporation shall not engage in any purpose, action or activity which is prohibited by the Texas Non-Profit Corporation Act and by other applicable law. Annual dues of the organization are $35 per year and membership runs from 1 Jan to 31 Dec. $10 of each dues goes directly to our Marine Corps Air Transport Scholarship Fund and the rest is used to fund our website, newsletter and defray expenses at the reunion each year.
